Well, I survived my first group ride and more importantly, everyone else survived having a green newbie along!

Thanks for a great ride, the route was beautiful, the road was awesome with plenty of fun curves-just enough to be a bit challenging but not too much.

Of course, now I gotta get my scooter in for her first oil change. I am going to take my helmet back to Iron Pony and see if they will take care of me-I am disappointed with my Bell, they sure ain't what they used to be!

Anyway, see ya all later!

Cheers,
V

Hey did anyone see the weather after we got back? Coshocton had thunderstorms with hail! When I got home they had gotten rain all day too. We must have gotten some good juju magic from ya'll getting your rainsuits on!

I am waiting to see the pics too!

We got very lucky with the weather, one of the best days we've had in a long time.

SirAnna, (Marc) picked an exceptional piece of road to Roscoe Village. I think this was the longest day trip the Posse has taken thus far. I'm guessing it was pretty close to 150 miles round trip.

Vic was our newbie but she handled the roads like a pro. Lot's of twisty turny, at speed and she held her line. I think her more than average bicycle experience probably helped her out some. Good job, Vic!

Do you know anyone who lives on this street?

Hey...Scouser and I didn't put any raincoats on, we raced the storm!

That was a great ride. Route 541 was a blast. I look forward to more. I took a few pics myself.

Man, it sticks that I had to miss the ride. Actually, I'm still breaking in my scoot anyway. Can't wait to come out and ride (and shoot) with you guys. Any body up for an urban style shoot with their scoot in Downtown Columbus?? Let me know.

I'm sorry your truck only gets 10 miles to the gallon. YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A SCOOTER.

Anyone going to Comfest? I am thinking about going tomorrow night maybe after bike night, then riding down again on Sunday if the weather permits.

Caitlin and I rocked the fest tonight. Good times. We are hitting it again tomorrow afternoon. Tom and Kathy were out busting it out, saw Bird, too.

Postby sallyb » Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:28 pm

I was checking Modern Vespa to see if a ride was posted and didn't see any for this Sunday...I see a few people may go to Comfest this weekend, I might shoot down Sunday afternoon. I ride a grey Kymco with checkerboard stickers...wear a lot of pink-pink and white helmet and mesh jacket and gloves...if you see me, say hi:) Sally--I hope to start getting out more, we have been busy remodeling and not riding

the Coshocton ride...

Postby sallyb » Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:09 pm

Pix are wonderful, I lived in that area(in Warsaw a few miles away, did my shopping in beautiful downtown Warsaw:)...brings back memories of those curving roads...area has more deer per square mile than anywhere, esp. during some times of the year, be very careful. We used to see deer daily. I wish I could have gone on that ride, but we were tearing out our bathroom floor...still not done, but I have to get out anyway:) hope to see you guys soon(Gary I was just kidding:) Sally :D

There is a sticky on how to get the goods, stickers, magnets, etc.

I think the last time we rode together was Buckeye Lake?

Time to get the Posse on a run!
