Hey I was down there too Friday night. I didn't see anyone from the Posse though. Where did you guys park? _________________ Marc

My wife came downtown and we walked up for lunch right when Comfest opened on Friday. I'm pretty sure I spotted Tom and Kathy on Neil Ave. when I was driving home from work (in the Rabbit..) around 4:15PM. Depending on how the weather shapes up, we'll head down again tonight and possibly Sunday afternoon to meet up with friends. I'll check back here to see if anyone else is heading down. _________________ EPSP #35 |

We rocked the Fest again tonight. We park across from the Greek Orthodox Church. Two steps away from the beer tent and fully guarded by Columbus's finest.
We'll be there again tomorrow. I still have a beer token that can't go quietly into the night. (of course, I'll have to buy a few more tokens in the spirit of Comfest.) _________________

| I scooted down to play the bagpipes on the Live Arts Stage with my boys. Had to change out of my jeans into my Utilikilt. I'm not sure how the kilt would hold down on the scooter. Great day. |

We got fairly drenched as we left Morrow County to hit Comfest but I quickly dried out:) going around 55 mph dries you out quickly...met up with Tom and Kathy(like your hair, Kath, but its cut differently, threw me off:)My hubby Bob rode his V-Strom and I rode my People 250. We got suckered into parking at North Market because we are newbies and didn't know we could park for free on the bridge(thanks Kath and Tom for that info). It was really nice to see you guys! I wish I could have seen Gary too(and grabbed those stickers lol:) I am up for more rides this summer, hope to see more of everyone, and very sorry to miss the bagpipes!(and the kilt:) my little brother does Highland games and wears on in the games. I think Utilikilts rock! Sally (maybe you could wear bike shorts under them...added benefit of the padding in bike shorts make riding nicer:) I now have over 3,000 miles on my bike(woo hoo:) it was about 90 miles roundtrip, I need an air or gel seat...any recommendations? |

I saw Tom and Kathy's scoots when we left last night. What a party. It was only my second Comfest but I am making up for lost time.
I like the gel seats, although they add about an inch to seat height. We used them on our 50cc scooter trip. Expensive, though. We bought ours from a vendor at a motorcycle rally in Kansas, I think they were 75 each. _________________

Sunday, ride???
Also, where did you guys find these seats? This scooter seat is KILLING me! Busted tailbones and scooter seats really don't go well together at all.
Cheers,

I would suggest a Tempur foam like product, the gel seats are still kind of firm.
I'm up for a ride on Sunday! _________________

Maybe get one of the tempurpedic pillows and have a seat shop type place install it under the seat cover somehow... _________________ EZPZ #65 |

I am not sure yet if I can ride(hubby out of town and not sure if babysitter can watch the kids yet-I thought she would be more available than it sounds like she is, but still, it might work I can go)
...a couple of ideas...1)ride to Motorcycle Hall of Fame and check out the stars bikes they have on display now or 2)Yellow Springs, to Youngs Dairy:) fab Jersey milk ice cream from their own cows and a fun little town...3)Granville....for ice cream:) or, just up to the zoo and back on Olentangy RR....nice windy shaded roads...Sally |
