Hey everyone what a nice turn out it was today! We started out strong with 9 scooters and had two drop out before we got out of Franklin County they had some mechanical promblems and had to turn back, they were sadly missed. We decided at the last minut to head over to Yellow Springs again, it was a very long day we headed out of the market at 11 am and returned a 6 pm.

I have got to get down there and ride out with you some Sunday really soon. Things keep getting in the way. Just say no to work around the house and go!
We got a ride in this evening over to Highbanks Park to take a hike and almost got nailed twice in the first five minutes. One guy in a pickup truck cut the left turn into my part of the intersection so he could save those three seconds that he would have to wait for the car going the other way to pass. At least he mouthed "sorry." Then we were driving through a subdivision and a woman in an enormous SUV pulled right in front of us making a left turn and looking right the whole time. She waved to us with her cell phone. I guess that was some sort of apology.

Youngs Dairy! So not fair I need ice cream like a hole in the head, but darn it:)that stuff is so good, I would have to...
My hubby got in tonight riding back from a big festival W of Chicago a bit. He rode around 500 miles today on his Vstrom and we agreed Iron Butt people are nuts:)lol...I gave him Monkey Butt powder for a preemptive strike and a gel seat with sheepskin before he left...he was able to walk in the door:) I hope to make the next ride...Sally

Papazed, there is NO WAY I would try getting into Highbanks on a scooter! You are extremely brave! I live about 2 miles from Highbanks (as the pig flies) and 23 scares me to death in my car, hanging out on my scoot, I would probably have a heartattack from the anxiety before I made it close enough to try. Those people on Rt 23 are NUTS .

Let me know sometime and we can ride to the North Market together.
